As the context of production changes we can see how the plot of superhero movies relates to what was going on at the time of production.This displays to us that as technology increases the values of a super-hero genre changes significantly.

I believe it is aimed at teenagers and adults.This is because horror movies are seen as gruesome and scary to children.

class-Typically middle and lower class because houses in the clips are run down which could be relatable to their background
age-13-40 year olds
gender-both but predominately females
ethnicity-any type however cast is predominatly white which reflects a white audience
Relationship to other texts
1) What intertextual references are there in the text you are analysing (and to what other texts)? Intertextuality is when a media product references another media text of some kind.
The Conjuring contains intertextual references to classic horror films like The Spiral Staircase and Secret Beyond the Door... through its use of perspective shots, lighting, and chilling atmosphere.

I believe that there are many films that link to The conjuring.For example the films that i have listed above.I furthermore believe that in some aspects Final destination links within this aspect partially due the graphics

-final destination contains a lot more graphics than the conjuring
-the conjuring contains more of paranormal activities
